An apex Igbo socio-cultural organization in Nigeria, Ohanaeze Ndigbo has called on the various parties to consider Igbos when they are looking for flagbearers to represent the parties.
The organization lamented that Igbos have been sidelined for a long time in the democracy and exercising of voting power in Nigeria.
The president of the group John Nwodo showed hope that in the coming years, Nigerians will finally get to terms with them and choose an Igbo leader for the country.
The organization explained that the quest for the southeast zone to produce the next president was in the spirit of equity, justice and fair play
