CELESTIAL ARTISTES GOT AWARDED AND REWARDED AT THE SECOND EDITION OF CELESTIAL MUSIC AWARDS

 Music they say is life, it is on that note the Celestial Music Community choose to award and reward those who has been a blessing to the society in making music within the celestial fold, the Celestial Music Awards held its 2nd edition recently. 

This edition is hosted by Awobiro Oluwafunmilayo and Ibukun Oni. Several artistes from Nigeria and Diaspora were in the list of nominee in different categories however, it takes one to wear the crown. the voting period took about 2 weeks where winners in each category were selected as a result of highest number of votes in their respective categories. 

The Idupe band thrills the audience in opening rendition while Alex Strings raised the bar to another exhilarating music moment, the Celestial Music Awards Medley Team ministered online from the United States of America. The Zion Parish Choir was not left out as they presented melodious tunes to put the audience on their dancing shoes. Prophet Dr. Kunle Hamilton declared the event opened and Evangelist Gbenga Daniel Adebayo during his presentation encouraged all celestial youths to dare to dream and create initiatives that would add value to the church brand thereby changing the church narrative across the globe. 

The Best collaboration category award was presented by Gbemiga Adeyemi Onofowokan and the winner in that category is KIYESI by Ekundayo Sholafunmi (Nig). Other nominees in that category are: RESTORED by Oluwatosin Doz  Ft Joseph Erinle, ROBA NAMICHEAL by Engo (Nig) Ft Funmibak, IRE by Queen Mowunmi (USA) Ft Kent Edujobi,  GBANI by Tope Olusesi (Nig) Ft Various Artiste, IRE by Adegoke Adedamola Ft Seyi sholagbade.

The Instrumentalist of the year category was presented by Prophet Ayo Awosika and the winner in that category is Seyi Jazz (Nig).  Other Nominees in that category are: Joe Akinshade (USA), Taiwo Adeagbo (T-PERC)(USA), Ogunmiloro Ayodele (Nig), Tosin Fretic (Nig), Adeniyi Olumosu (Canada), David Peter (Nig), Samuel Baiyewu (USA), Fehintola Adeokun (Jamaika), Official Tantala (Nig), Dare Amusa(Nig).




The Gospel Soul Song of the year Award was presented by Prophet Dotun Makama and the Winner is JUBA by Mary sings (NIG). Other nominees in that category are: ORUN SI by Oluwatosin Doz (Nig), ONA IYE by Ajilola (Breat Britain), OLUFISIMI by Adegoke Adedamola, ROBA NAMICHEAL by Engo (Nig), FERE SI ISEMI by Omoluwabi Ogo (Nig), SEKUNMI DERIN by Solomon Mayowa (Nig).

Presenting The Classical music Artiste of the year is Taiwo Adeyemi. Yinka Erinle (Nig) wins this category and also won a trip to OMU Resort sponsored by blue oceans trip. In this category are: Temitope (Nig), James Okunusi (Nig) and Dammy BAMBAM (Nig).


IGBA OTUN by CCC Ketu International Choir (Apex Choir) won The Celestial Song of the Year and the Choir Album of the year. the award was presented by Prophetess.

Kemi Ogunubi. other nominees in this category are: YARA OKE by CCC God's Love Parish (Nig), SU RE FUN WA CCC Sanctuary of the Lord Choir (Nig), JI MASUN by CCC Prince of Peace Choir. 

2021 best Online Music Session is CHRIST CAFE by Seyi Sholagbade, amongst this year Nominee are: SPIRIT ROOM by Albert King (Nig), KOINONIA by Harjovy (Nig), 1 HOUR LIVE WORSHIP by Irenise (Nig), ONLINE PULPIT by Duyile Ayodeji (Nig).

FERANMI GOLDEN ANGEL the 2020 Juvennile Music Artiste award winner wins the 2021 edition in the same category; she also got 100,000 cash reward which was sponsored by CMA just as she was rewarded with same amount last year. In the list of nominee in that category are: Samson Oyebanji, Solomon Mayowa, Jah Spectacular, Ayansarah and The Glorious Twins.

The Contemporary song of the year goes to IDEMIJA by Harjovi (Nig), the award was presented by Serah Omitogun. other nominee include: JE KIN ROWO RE by Tosin Adisa (GB), OGUN ESU WO by King Samba (USA), ORUN SI by Oluwatosin Doz (Nig).




Music Producer of the year award goes to KENT EDUJOBI (Nig), the award was presented by Yemi Terry. other nominees in that category are: Tosin Ogunbameru, Tosin Aribisala, Eskeez.  

The Celestial Gospel Music Video of the year award goes to Mary Sings on the Album Titled ONENESS, the video was recognized to be shot, produced and directed by Depeerless Studio, Lagos Nigeria. The artiste would be visiting CASA DEL PAPA, Benin Republic on a week Tour as part of the package that comes with the award. other nominees in this category are: UNSTOPPABLE by  Engo (Nig), PURIFIED by Temiloluwa Badmus (Nig), JE kIN ROWO RE by Tosin Adisa (GB), MO GBO OHUN IFE RE by CCC Gods love Parish (GB), BOWO by Oluwatosin Doz (Nig).

Seyi Solagbade (Nig) emerges the Celestial Gospel Artiste of the year amongst the likes of Segun Daramola also known as Ajidara(Nig) and Harjovy. The Artiste appreciated the organizers and enjoins them not to include him any longer in any categories in order to create room for the younger generation to fully express themselves. In addition to the award is 250,000 cash prize.

Mr. Adeniyi Opebiyi the General Manager Silver Pacific Homes presented the Best New Act Award and the winner is Damilola Ogunmakinju (Dee Reign) amidst other three (3) artistes: Funmi Baks (Nig), Tosin Adisa (UK) an Ewaoluwa (Nig). The artist was rewarded with 1 plot of Land at Ibeju Lekki by Silver Pacific Homes.

In the category of the performing artist of the year, mosses Harmony (Nig) had the highest number of votes and he eventually get away with the award as the Performing artiste of the year 2021. Other Nominees are: Mega 99 (Nig), Alashe Sammy Jerry (USA), Alayo Melody Singer (Nig)and Sammy P (Nig).




CCC Akoka 1 won the CCC Choir of the year award, Other Nominees are: CCC Ketu Intl Hqtr Choir (Nig), CCC Yemetu Choir (Nig), CCC Elephant and Castle Choir (GB), Covenant  Model Choir (Nig).

Mr Rotimi Olaosebikan presented other Awards:  The Trailblazers Award goes to Celestial Steppers, CMA Recognition Awards goes to CCC Akoka 1 and CCC Central Choir, Revolution Award goes to Evang Femi Opalemo, CMA 2021 Lyrist of the year Award goes to ENGO, CMA Prestigious concert Award 2021 goes to LULI CONCERT. Evangelist Oluwakayode Oladimeji from the United was also Awarded on CMA Recognition Award and the Legend award goes to Evang. Akin Adebayo (Imole Ayo).  





Post Humor Awards goes to Late Mr. Dare Alabi Popularly known as Biggy, the artiste who died recently had two girls and a son, the Audience was thrilled by the amazing performance from the Children, the performance iterate that Biggys Legacy ever lives on.

The event was brought to conclusion with a beautiful performance from Segun Daramola Also known as  Ajidara.
