I was listening to a conversation on Nigeria info 95.1 fm when a lady called in to make complain on her father.
She started by narrating how her mother died when giving birth to her and her father refused to remarry saying he wants to raise his daughter and wouldn’t want another woman interfering in his relationship with his daughter as he can’t stand to watch her being ill-treated by another woman. So, he stayed unmarried.
Her father took it on himself to raise her from infant to adult but along the line, during her teenage age, her father began having sexual relationship with her til she was a full grown woman. Even while in her university days,they continued their affair. Although, she met a cute young guy in school and fell in love. The relationship lingered to a point the school boyfriend proposed after their graduation.
Now, she informed her father of her plans to move on with her life by marrying her school lover and her father became furious, siting that she wants to leave him despite all they’ve been through and shared, that over his dead body will be live to witness her marriage with her school lover. Infact, the issue became a big one that she nolonger lives with her father and her supposed fiance isn’t aware why his supposed father inlaw hates him so much.
She’s between crossroad as she doesn’t know how and what to do and she doesn’t want to tell her school lover the reason behind her father’s disagreement to marry him.
Her father also threatened to kill her….she needs advice on how to handle this issues as she’s ashamed and deeply sorry for herself cos she did not know it was evil for her father to have sexual relationship with her and it is affecting her entire life even her chances of getting married to the one she loves.
She stated her father is deeply in love with her and can go to lengths to make sure he ruins her life.
