The garden of Eden according to the bible was inhabited by the first created man and woman ( Adam and Eve) before they were chased out by God for disobeying is order.
Most of us are familiar with the story of Adam and Eve in the garden of Eden. What gets our attention is usually their disobedience.
Since Adam and Eve disobeyed God by eating of the tree of knowledge, God couldn’t just look the other way. He’s absolutely righteous, and this righteousness required Him to punish them and banish them from the garden.
The story of the Garden of Eden is a theological use of mythological themes to explain human progression from a state of innocence and bliss to the present human condition of knowledge of sin, misery, and death.
Reading through Genesis shortly after The Fall of Man we see Adam and Eve no longer in the Garden, but I wonder what happened to this physical location?.
A few possibilities come to mind: Destroyed during The Flood and wiped from the Earth, buried under millenia of sand/debris, located in some unreachable outer celestial realm i.e. guarded by flaming swords.
I understand scripture does not mention this subject in much depth outside of Genesis, any insight you could provide would be much appreciated.
So guys,
What happened to the Garden of Eden? Where is it located?
Lets hear from you
