Bursting some new releases this week on my way to work today and a question struck my mind that, why are some artiste with good lyrical content in their songs still below Wizkid, Davido and Burna Boy?
Omo!! This life no just balance, there are many artiste whose lyrics are always bursting brain on songs but yet, Wizkid who will always repeat one word 97 times in a song is still ahead of them.
The bitter truth is, Wizkid, Davido, and Burna Boy are the biggest artistes in Nigeria’s music industry right now but if you take a wide look around the music industry, you will discover that there are many artistes better than them in terms of good lyrics.
Just that Nigeria’s music industry is not like abroad where one new artiste with one good song can get Grammy Awards that same year and even get rated over existing big artistes.
This post is actually meant to identify some artistes whose has better lyrics and sound than those in A-List.
