Davido on Twitter yesterday, advised his colleagues in the entertainment industry to stop accepting below 3 Million Dollars deal, that they should ask to be part of the company, rather than being a brand ambassador for the company.
He tweeted;
“ Fu*ck an endorsement deal ask for part of the company”
Immediately, a Twitter user, a Wizkid’s fan I presume, who apparently thought Davido is indirectly shading Wizkid, tweeted;
“Davido said “fvck endorsement deals” because he doesn’t get proper offers from proper companies… Who would say no to a UBA deal worth $3million?
This is why it is very important for artists to grow organically.”
In response to that, Davido tweeted,
“3 m dollars? Lmao ….. something wey go finish now now Cc @icebox”.
Meaning that 3 million dollars, which is about 1.4 billion in Nigeria currency, is too small. Apparently, he can spend it within some seconds.
