P-Square were Nigerian duo of identical twin brothers Peter Okoye and Paul Okoye.
They’ve produced and released numerous albums through Square Records. In December 2011, they signed a record deal with Akon’s Konvict Muzik label. In May 2012, they signed a record distribution deal with Universal Music’s South African branch.
Started having misunderstanding to the notice of the media on 25 September 2017. Disbanded (separated) in 2016, supposedly over a disagreement about who is the brain box and life wire of the group and who’s not.
However, after they separated and went Solo, Rudeboy have been doing perfectly well, even more better than when he was paired with his brother who now go by name Mr. P.
Mr. P on the other hand, have been struggling to be relevant to an extent of claiming to had contracted Covid-19 to probably gain public sympathy and popularity but failed. The news didn’t trend more than 24hrs. Kai 😂🤣
Well, judging from the songs released so far by Rudeboy and Mr. P after the disbandment of Psqaure, I can confidently tell you that Rudeboy was truely the life wire of the group Psqaure.
I can as well authoritatively tell you that Rudeboy is lyrically better than 75% of Nigerian artists..including Davido, Wizkid and the rest.
