Chelsea are closing in on a deal for Leicester and England left-back Ben Chilwell.
The 23-year-old has been a target for Blues boss Frank Lampard despite Foxes manager Brendan Rodgers saying in July that Chilwell was not for sale.
But after Leicester finished fifth last season, a Chelsea move would offer Chilwell Champions League football.
The Foxes academy product is working his way back from a foot injury that is not thought to be serious.
His current contract with Leicester runs until 2024.
Chelsea are also interested in signing Bayer Leverkusen attacking midfielder Kai Havertz.
They have already signed RB Leipzig striker Timo Werner and Ajax winger Hakim Ziyech as they prepare for the new Premier League season, which starts on 12 September.
Chelsea finished fourth last season in Lampard’s first campaign in charge.
