Southern Kaduna Crisis: Stop The Blame Game – Ashiru Tells State Government

A 2019 governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in Kaduna State, Alhaji Isah Ashiru, has called on the government to stop the blame game, be unbiased and live up to its responsibility by protecting lives and property of Southern Kaduna people.

Ashiru expressed worry over the incessant attacks in the state, with the attendant loss of innocent lives and perpetual destruction of properties.
Speaking through Ambassador Sule Buba, who led a delegation to visit some victims at the Internally Displaced Persons in Mariri, Lere local government area of the state, Ashiru said he sympathized with them, adding that he feels their pain and understands their challenges.
He called on the people to eschew bitterness, shun violence and learn to live together in peace for the progress and development of the state.
Responding, Ardo Ruguni Pate, who received a donation from the delegation expressed gratitude for the act of kindness, assuring that the money would be judiciously utilized for the overall benefit of the victims.
He added that Ashiru’s show of love signifies his sympathy for the plight of others and is ready to come to their aid at their time of need.
