Teen Who Cleaned Up After A Protest Rewarded With A Car And Scholarship

Where person dey spoil, person own dey better

When Antonio Gwynn Jr. saw the damage from protests in his hometown of Buffalo, New York, he grabbed a broom, bought some trash bags and started cleaning the streets by himself. He started at 2am and did not stop cleaning for 10 hours.
Matt Block saw Gwynn’s story on the news and gave him his 2004 red Mustang convertible. Medaille College, where Gwynn planned to attend after graduating from high school, offered him a full scholarship.
Gwynn is thankful for the community response, saying, “I appreciate everything everyone is doing for me.”
