Viraltrendnews reported how Vera Omozuwa was raped and killed in a RCCG building in Benin, which has brought a huge campaign against rape and women maltreatment from notable personalities around the country.
He was accused of rape by a lady he revealed used to be a good friend of his before the rape saga. He was also dragged online for raping 24 women.
However in an interview with Viraltrendnews, Yangy had this to say:
"she did it out of jealousy and ladies now feel comfortable dragging guys online and calling them rapists because guys don't have the social media attention the women draw to themselves"
"when I saw the tweets online about me raping a lady, I was so depressed and out of words. The girl didn't text me at all because she has been hiding from the public. I attempted suicide if not for my brothers that intervened to save my life, I'm a public figure and such allegation is tarnishing for my image.

He also cleared the air about him being a pedophile :
"I was 16 years and she was 15 years as at 2015,so how is it possible for me to rape anyone at that age, why didn't she come out all this while? Although we dated for about a month or so but we didn't have any sexual relationship because we were very little"
About Raping a cousin, Yangy had this to say:
"obviously it's social media, the person that claims to be my cousin should come out from her hiding and confront me. She should bring out her parents since she is my cousin, let our family become aware, I'm ready to face her in court"
