Just as the rate of COVID-19 cases keeps growing, country leaders have taken measures to ensure their citizens are comfortable during the mandatory lockdown exercise.
Stipends have been discharged across boards to ease citizens of the pain and hunger associated with the lockdown.
Nigerian government have however promised to follow suit in providing for her citizens. Money have reportedly been given to some but still not close to convincing the majority.
Federal Government reported days ago that they would credit those with below N5000 in their bank account and those that recharges below N200 airtime as they are the ones they consider as most vulnerable.
However some individuals have taken to robbery while others have taken to fraud to ease themselves of the hunger during this period.

Please this is SCAM!!!
I would like to bring to your notice this scam that has been going round for days now claiming that he or she has gotten N5000 from the government.
Let me say it's a big scam and I want us to be careful as not to give our bank details or BVN to anyone during this period. If the government wants to fund us, believe me they would not ask for your BVN as the CBN knows the BVN of every banking citizen of this country.
Please Stay safe and stay smart as while we are praying for the pandemic to be over to enable us return to work, some evil Nigerians are seeking means to defraud you of the little you have left.
