Okpekpe kingdom : Ede Donaldson Eshilama marks his 5th year on the throne

It's jubilation in the household of the Ede of Okpekpe kingdom as Donaldson Eshilama celebrates 5 years on the throne. 

He was crowned Ede on the 4th of April 2015 after his predecessor Paul Unugbua got to the end of his reign 2013.

Okpekpe (Okphekphe) is a town in Etsako East Local Government Area of Edo StateNigeria. It is located about 25 kilometres (16 mi) northeast of Auchi. It has a population of 3155 inhabitants. Its people belong to a large homogeneous group of people, called the Afemai. Also popular for the annual 10 kilometers road race. 

Mr Donaldson Eshilama, a proud father of five wonderful children is an engineer with one of the country’s leading Petroleum brands. He was born a leader as he is a first son to late Mrs Grace Masagbor and has six other siblings.

The Ede  is a very prestigious position amongs the Okpekpe clan and has had great men of the kingdom on the throne of which Ede Ofhi Enwu is the current holder.
