BREAKING: NCDC Confirms 20 New COVID-19 Cases In Nigeria, Now 343 cases

A few hours after President Muhammadu Buhari extended the lockdown on three Nigerian cities in a bid to check the spread of coronavirus, the country on Monday night confirmed 20 fresh cases of the disease.

The Nigerian Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) disclosed on its Twitter handle that 13 new infections were recorded in Lagos, one of the three cities affected by the lockdown, two cases each in Edo, Kano, and Ogun and one in Ondo.
The new discoveries brought the number of people infected by the virus in Nigeria to 343.


Twenty new cases of have been reported as follows:

13 in Lagos
2 in Edo
2 in Kano
2 in Ogun
1 in Ondo

As at 09:50 pm 13th April there are 343 confirmed cases of reported in Nigeria. 91 have been discharged with 10 deaths
