The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC has just announced that 117 new cases of COVID-19 have been recorded in the country.
The NCDC said on its Twitter handle that 59 new cases were recorded in Lagos, 29 in FCT, 14 in Kano, six in Borno, four in Katsina, three in Ogun, and one each in Rivers and Bauchi.
According to the centre, 197 patients have been discharged from hospitals and isolation centres across the country and 25 others killed by the virus.
It said: “117 new cases of #COVID19 have been reported: 59 in Lagos, 29 in FCT, 14 in Kano, 6 in Borno, 4 in Katsina, 3 in Ogun, 1 in Rivers, and 1 in Bauchi.
