According to the report of confirmed cases published by NCDC, Kano state has the highest case for 30th May 202o with 80 Cases.
This makes the first time any other state in Nigeria is recording a case higher than Lagos in 24 hours.
With the news of the sudden death dropping a lot of prominent people in Kano, and now the increasing numbers of COVID-19 cases, Is Kano not going to take over Lagos?
While the Federal Govt is already planning on relaxing the lockdown orders in Lagos, Ogun and FCT – The total lockdown measure has been enacted in Kano state.
But with the news reaching us today, it shows the Kano citizens are not complying to the order have they hit the street in solidarity chanting “What will they eat?”
I fear Kano state, is not going to be the new epicentre of this virus in Nigeria.
