Reno Omokri, a critic of President Muhammadu Buhari has lambasted the president over the plan to borrow $500m to digitize the Nigeria Television Authority (NTA).
The Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed stated this during a Senate hearing on monday. He expressed that if the request is granted it will make the media house compete with the likes of CNN.
Reacting to this new development, Reno expressed that the loan is dubious. He went further to express that NTA is not worth the amount to be borrowed.
