Fani-Kayode Begs Buhari To Allow Nnamdi Kanu Bury His Parents

Former minister of aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode has made a passionate appeal to President Muhammadu Buhari on behalf of Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the proscribed Indigenous Peoples of Biafra (IPOB).

Recall that the IPOB who has been away from Nigeria since 2017 has given hint that he might not attend the burial of his parents.

His hint came after the police in Abia State, had warned members of the group to steer clear of the burial if they want it to go smoothly.

Reacting, the former minister appealed to President Buhari to allow Kanu attend his parent’s burial in order to avoid spillage of blood.

See His Tweet Below:

"I make a solemn &humble appeal to @MBuhari & the FG. Do NOT shed the blood of ANY mourner during the burial ceremony of @MaziNnamdiKanu‘s parents. The funeral rites must NOT be desecrated by the spilling of innocent blood. They deserve to be buried in peace &with honor & dignity."
